The group evacuating through Al Rastan is reportedly travelling from the northern Homs countryside, and the second group is being evacuated from the southern Hama countryside. The recent evacuation is part of a deal struck with the Syrian government that will grant the militants and their families’ safe passage to Idlib province. Some 6,000 insurgents and members of their families are said to have been evacuated on Saturday, bringing the reported total departures to 16,000. March 2013. This video and hundreds more from the first five months of peaceful protests and demonstrations are uploaded to commemorate the fallen who first began to express their views against the regime. It all began in the city of Daraa while Homs City succeeded as a hot bed of armed opposition. It's in this city were the Free Syria Army was born. ------------------- Over 30.0000 videos has been collected for analysis, documentation and may be to use them against those who committed serious, and even extreme serious crimes not only against international laws but also against human dignity. HOMS is a administrative region north of Damascus and is the largest so called 14 governorates of Syria This and all other regions in Syria are being monitored since the first month of the people's uprising against the Assad regime in March 2011 Unfortunately, tens of thousands footages has been archived while a You Tube play list can only contain a maximum of 200 clips. This means you have to dig out a huge number of play lists for each of the 14 regions for a video. That is why we will come with separate channels about Aleppo, Damascus, Daraa, Hama, Homs and Idlib. We would like to launch channels of all 14 regions but Google does not allow more than 6 channels.

The last batch of militants is leaving Syria's flash-point city of Homs as part of a deal with the government. Officials say at least eighty percent of insurgents have already pulled out of the city, which was once known as the capital of the conflict against the Syrian government. The insurgents' withdrawal from the city, that was under a tight militant siege for nearly two years, has handed a major victory to the government ahead of the presidential election. The government allowed the evacuation in return for the release of dozens of prisoners held by the insurgents and the delivery of aid to two northern towns under militant control. The deal was mediated by the United Nations, Russia and Iran, which was excluded from several rounds of failed international talks on Syria. Meanwhile, r...
(8 Jul 2012) The UN observer mission in Syria visited Damascus International Airport on Sunday and held talks with officials before they left the capital for Homs. Until last Sunday, the monitors had been confined to their hotel after they suspended their patrols in Syria on 16 June due to a spike in violence. Later in the day, UN spokesperson Sausan Ghosheh, commented on the purpose of recent visits to schools and hospitals by the United Nations Supervision Mission in Syria (UNSMIS). She said despite UNSMIS suspending their activities they were still making visits to hospitals to assess the number of casualties from the violence, checking on the availability of medical supplies and determining whether they were being used for medical services or for military activities. Ghosheh said t...
